In the second collaboration between the independent watchmaker MB&F and the house of Bvlgari, designer Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani and Maximilian Büsser set out to reinterpret one of Bvlgari’s most iconic and legendary historical creations: the Serpenti. Together, the two brands redefine the concepts of eternal rebirth and bold transformation through a horological creation (Horological Machine) that required a complete reimagining of the historic timepiece. And this applies not only to its aesthetics, but also to its engineering, the conception of a brand-new movement, the design of an entirely new case, and an overall construction process filled with challenges.
