Double Victory at the Tudor Nazaré Big Wave Challenge!

Tudor ambassadors Nic Von Rupp and Clément Roseyro emerged victorious in one of the most demanding and dangerous competitions in the world, battling the giant waves of the Atlantic in Nazaré, Portugal.

What’s better than a win for TUDOR at the eponymous TUDOR Nazaré Big Wave Challenge? Why, of course… two wins! But let’s start from the beginning. I’ve always admired those who dare — those who test their limits in any way possible. Even if what they dare to do seems like pure madness to most people. Like surfing 20-25 meter (65–82 ft) waves! There are quite a few of these brave, brilliant daredevils around the world. Two of them —Nic Von Rupp and Clément Roseyro— took on the towering waves of Nazaré during the Tudor Nazaré Big Wave Challenge and claimed the Best Team Performance Award, the highest distinction of the event.

But the good news didn’t stop there. Tudor’s newest ambassador, Clément Roseyro, after an incredible performance, also won the Best Male Performance Award. Not a bad way to celebrate joining the Tudor family!

This recognition came after intense daily training in the notoriously treacherous waves of Nazaré, where the Atlantic Ocean crashes violently —especially in the winter months. That’s where both athletes are based. It’s been a tough year, but their hard work paid off. We’ll definitely be watching them closely in the future.
