Rolex does not usually unveil new models during the course of the year, as its major launches invariably take place in spring at Watches & Wonders Geneva. Unless, of course, there is a very good reason. Or, in this case, two very good reasons. What do we mean? The grande dame of watchmaking has created four spectacular Cosmograph Daytona watches especially for a charity auction organised in partnership with Phillips. These unique timepieces will be offered as four separate lots, with the proceeds benefiting the Roger Federer Foundation and Re:wild, the environmental organisation co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio. The legendary tennis player and the celebrated actor are both Rolex Testimonees, so what could be more natural than a collaboration of this kind?
The auction will take place in London on Monday, 28 September 2026, as part of Rolex’s Perpetual Planet Initiative, through which the Swiss watchmaker supports organisations and projects active in exploration, ocean protection, environmental conservation and the preservation of wilderness.

Four Seasons, Four Unique Daytonas
The four Cosmograph Daytona watches draw their inspiration from spring, summer, autumn and winter. Featuring cases and bracelets crafted from 950 platinum, yellow gold, white gold or Everose gold, each creation evokes the distinctive atmosphere and beauty of a particular season through a unique combination of colours, precious stones and finishes.

Their colour palettes range from green and purple to turquoise, deep red, yellow and blue. The bezels are set with precious stones arranged in colour gradients, while the cases are also adorned with diamonds. These four extraordinary pieces showcase Rolex’s expertise, bringing together mechanical precision and high jewellery craftsmanship. They are four different precious interpretations of the world’s most recognisable chronograph, with each watch evoking the natural cycle of time and life.
Rolex has not yet disclosed the references, full technical specifications or auction estimates for the four watches. Further information is expected to be released by Phillips ahead of the sale.

The Purpose of the Auction
The proceeds from the auction will benefit two organisations with different but complementary missions.
The Federer Foundation, founded by Roger Federer, focuses on early and foundational learning for children across Southern Africa and Switzerland. Through its programmes, it aims to provide more children with the foundations they need for their education and future development.
Re:wild, co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio, who is widely known for his environmental advocacy, works to protect and restore wild ecosystems around the world. The organisation collaborates with local communities, scientists and conservation groups to preserve biodiversity and protect threatened areas.

“True excellence is measured not only by the quality of our products, but also by the positive impact we can have on the world,” says Jean-Frédéric Dufour, CEO of Rolex SA, on the occasion of the auction. We look forward to seeing the results, as collectors from around the world are certain to compete fiercely for the opportunity to acquire even one of these unique pieces.
