LVMH Watch Week 2025 – ZENITH’s New Models

Zenith kept it minimal but impressive for the start of the year at the LVMH Watch Week.

At the end of January, LVMH Watch Week (LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) took place in New York and Paris. Nine of the Group’s top watchmaking maisons were present. Zenith, alongside Bulgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer, Louis Vuitton, Daniel Roth, Gerald Genta, Tiffany & Co., and L’Epée 1839, unveiled the first wave of its 2025 models, with a second wave expected in April at Watches & Wonders.

This year, Zenith celebrates its 160th anniversary and kicked off 2025 with two impressive chronographs: the Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton and the Chronomaster Sport Rainbow.

ZENITH Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton

The highly successful DEFY Skyline line has been expanded this year with two DEFY Skyline Skeleton chronographs — a modern take on the skeleton watch, further enriching Zenith’s collection of sporty timepieces with integrated bracelets.
The robust 42mm stainless steel case houses an industrial-style dial featuring bridges shaped like four-pointed stars, reminiscent of Zenith’s double-Z logo used during the 1960s.

Large applied hour markers and the two central hands are filled with Super-LumiNova, making them visible even in the dark — a feature often sacrificed in skeleton watches.
The clearly legible 60-second and 60-minute chronograph counters are positioned at 3 and 6 o’clock respectively, with the small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock.

The skeletonized dial, available in dark grey or blue, is harmonized with the main plate, star-shaped rotor, and movement bridges — all in matching colors. A combination of brushed and polished finishes enhances the edges and lines of the case, bezel, and bracelet.
Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton is powered by the high-frequency automatic manufacture movement El Primero Calibre 3600 SK, beating at 5Hz (36,000 vibrations/hour), offering 1/10th of a second chronograph precision and a 55-hour power reserve.

ZENITH Chronomaster Sport Rainbow

The Chronomaster Sport Rainbow is a surprise addition, breaking away from what we knew of this popular Zenith chronograph. More precious and more colorful, it is crafted entirely in white gold, featuring a bezel adorned with colored baguette-cut sapphires in a gradient (dégradé) arrangement, interrupted by 10 diamonds. Colored sapphires also mark the hours on the black lacquered dial, which retains the signature three sub-dials in light grey, dark grey, and blue.

The 41mm case is water-resistant to 100 meters and houses the automatic El Primero 3600 chronograph movement. This high-frequency movement beats at 36,000 vibrations per hour, delivers 1/10th of a second chronograph functionality, and offers a 60-hour power reserve.
