Stefanos Tsitsipas added another significant trophy to his collection by winning the EFG Swiss Open Gstaad, one of the most historic clay-court tournaments on the ATP Tour. The victory capped an excellent week in Switzerland and marked a welcome return to winning ways for the Greek champion.
A Hard-Fought Victory
In the final, Tsitsipas faced Belgium’s Raphaël Collignon in a match that remained competitive until the very last point. The Greek star stayed composed under pressure, defeating his opponent 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 to lift the 13th ATP title of his career.

Returning to a Favourite Destination
Gstaad is far from just another tournament for Stefanos Tsitsipas. Following his first appearance there two years ago, he described it as “love at first sight.” His return this season and eventual triumph carry even greater significance, coming after a demanding campaign for the 27-year-old Greek. The Gstaad title is Tsitsipas’ first of the 2026 season and follows a year marked by inconsistency. Despite impressive victories over top players such as Taylor Fritz, Daniil Medvedev and Alex de Minaur, the Greek had not reached an ATP final before arriving in Switzerland. His victory in Gstaad ended a title drought of nearly 16 months and could prove to be the turning point of his season.

A Longstanding Partnership with Rolex
Tsitsipas joined the family of Rolex Testimonees in 2018 and has since established himself as one of the leading figures in world tennis. During his career, he has climbed as high as World No. 3 and reached two Grand Slam finals. Following his victory in Gstaad, Rolex Hellas congratulated its ambassador, highlighting his determination, resilience and continued dedication to the sport.
Rolex has maintained a close relationship with tennis for nearly five decades, supporting the sport’s most prestigious tournaments, its greatest champions and the personalities who have helped shape its history.
