The new era of PrimaLuna began last August with a campaign starring acclaimed actress Jennifer Lawrence. That same month, the first fully refreshed models of the collection arrived on the market, distinguished by their 34 mm cases, smooth rounded lines that capture the light, and a domed, sculpted crown that resembles a piece of jewelry. The lineup included classic stainless-steel versions, elegant two-tone combinations of steel and gold, and more precious interpretations adorned with diamonds and sapphires.

Three dial variations were introduced: a silver sunray dial with blue or black Roman numerals;

a white mother-of-pearl dial set with diamond hour markers;

and a pale blue mother-of-pearl dial with 14 diamonds and a bezel embellished with 48 gradient blue sapphires totaling 1.06 carats.

All of these early models featured a moon-phase display paired with a date indication, powered by the automatic calibre L899.5. This movement includes a silicon balance spring for superior stability, precision, and resistance to magnetism and temperature changes, while providing a 72-hour power reserve – three full days of autonomy.

And more to come
The story didn’t end there. This November, the PrimaLuna collection expands even further with new models – both automatic and quartz – with or without moon-phase indication. In the 34 mm size, Longines introduces the traditional cloisonné enamel technique on mother-of-pearl dials, where fine metallic wires outline the colored sections – in this case, the peripheral hour ring. Two new dial tones join the collection: luminous blue and vivid green.

At the same time, new three-hand automatic versions in 34 mm offer a more minimalist take without moon phases. These are powered by the automatic calibre L888.5 with a silicon balance spring and a 72-hour power reserve.

Finally, the PrimaLuna family welcomes new 30 mm quartz references (calibre L257.2) in fresh, playful hues – sunray dials in mint blue and lavender purple, each accented with 15 diamonds marking the hours.

Every Longines PrimaLuna can be paired with either a stainless-steel bracelet or a fine leather strap in refined colors. Prices start at €1,900 for the 30 mm quartz models and reach up to €6,850 for the top-of-the-line steel version with blue sapphires and a blue mother-of-pearl dial.
