TUDOR Black Bay Chrono “Flamingo Blue”

Last year, the pink version of the Black Bay Chrono made a huge splash. Now, Tudor is back with another Black Bay chronograph—once again in a not-so-mainstream color. And everyone wants it…

This is the new TUDOR Black Bay Chrono “Flamingo Blue”. Tudor, with its “Born to Dare” motto, has pleasantly surprised us with this version of its iconic Black Bay chronograph, featuring a light turquoise dial. It’s certainly a non-mainstream color choice, but one that has thrilled aficionados.
Fans of the Swiss brand will surely remember that last year, the pink edition of the Black Bay Chrono was one of the most talked-about watches. That model was created in celebration of Tudor’s partnership with David Beckham’s football team, Inter Miami CF—with Beckham himself also being a brand ambassador. It was initially released in a very limited run—just a few dozen pieces—but due to overwhelming global demand, the company decided to make it part of its core collection.
The huge success of the pink Black Bay chronograph has now been followed up in 2025 by its turquoise “sibling.”

In early January, just days before the official launch of the TUDOR Black Bay Chrono “Flamingo Blue,” photos of David Beckham wearing this very model on his wrist began circulating on social media. Naturally, this sparked great interest and anticipation among watch enthusiasts around the world.

Like its predecessors, the newTUDOR Black Bay Chrono “Flamingo Blue”features a 41 mm stainless steel case with a 14.4 mm thickness and screw-down pushers reminiscent of those on its more famous “cousin,” the Rolex Daytona.

Why did Tudor choose this particular color for the dial? And why name it “Blue Flamingo”? As we all know, blue flamingos don’t exist. According to the brand, the color and name are inspired by the turquoise tropical waters where flamingos live. It may not be a coincidence that Inter Miami’s third kit features the same turquoise tone (their primary kit is pink, and the second is gray-black).

On the turquoise dial of the “Blue Flamingo,” the black chronograph counters create a beautiful contrast, while the black tachymeter bezel enhances the overall visual impact. As for the hands, they’re the signature “snowflake” style, introduced by Tudor in its dive watches back in 1969.
Inside, the chronograph is powered by the automatic manufacture calibre MT5813, which features a silicon balance spring and a vertical clutch, offers 70 hours of power reserve, and is COSC-certified for chronometer accuracy.

The TUDOR Black Bay Chrono “Flamingo Blue” is paired with a five-link stainless steel bracelet, which fits perfectly on the wrist thanks to Tudor’s T-fit rapid adjustment clasp. The watch comes with a five-year warranty.
